In Mitch Albom's article, "Time to pause, reflect- and stop predicting," he makes a good point that Americans need to stop making judgments. People are so quick to think the worse of Trump when they haven't even given him a chance to be president yet. He also says that past judgments made on presidents have always ended up being wrong, so why do we continue to judge? There is no need to judge and freak out, it only makes things worse. All we can do is wait and hope for the best. He also makes a good point that although Trump has made inappropriate or racist comments, it does not mean the people who had voted for him are racist. People need to stop attacking others for their vote and respect them for their choice. In order for our country to come together, I believe that people should keep a positive attitude and truly give Trump a chance. I also think that people should remember that the government is here to help and serve us and that we still have a say in our country. I also think it is important for people to spread hope and positivity, to comfort those who are in fear for their future and to remind others that this country will still continue to be great.
