Pushing yourself to try new things can be challenging and scary. However, trying different activities helps you to grow as a person and helps you to learn new things. No one wants to feel uncomfortable or nervous in life, but sometimes you have to deal with those feelings to grow. Whenever I push myself outside of my comfort zone and try something new I'm always happy that I did. In the future, I will continue to remember that the uncomfortable feeling only lasts for a short time and the end result is worth it.

awesome post Maddie - you made some powerful points... yes.. we don't want to feel uncomfortable on purpose... but it is for us to grow that we have to go through that.. also you said another gold nugget... the feelings of being scared and uncomfortable only last for so long... huge points.

This post is so true Madison. As you have realized when you have pushed yourself out of your comfort zone it sets the tone to always push yourself going forward when you have been uncomfortable because you know that when you did, you got thru it and were happy with the end result. You made a good point also because when you do push yourself and step outside of your comfort zone it helps you grow and mature.
